ICYMI (In Case You Missed It)

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Harry Kane's Spurs... Tottenham Hotspur downed Arsenal 3-0 in a massive North London Derby on Thursday. The drubbing came after a 33' Rob Holding red card, which meant no way back for Mikel Arteta's side. It brings the race for 4th down to a single point. Still, though, it's in Arsenal's hands––win two games and get Champions League football next season.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Kevin de Bruyne netted FOUR goals in yet another route for Manchester City. They beat Wolves 5-1 and continue to destroy everyone in their path not named Real Madrid. The title seems just steps away for City, who continue to pour on the goal difference advantage over Liverpool.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Celtic locked up the Scottish Premiership title after getting a point at Dundee on Wednesday!

🇮🇹 AC Milan continue to charge towards its first title since 2011. It feels like magical destiny for Milan. They continue to edge out victories and score late winners. They play a difficult game against Atalanta at the weekend, but two victories secures the Scudetto for the Rossoneri.

🇳🇱 Ajax secured the Eredivisie league title with a thumping 5-0 victory over Heerenveen in Erik ten Hag's final game at the Johan Cruijff ArenA.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Sunderland beat Sheffield Wednesday over two legs in the League 1 promotion playoffs to earn a spot at Wembley for the final. What a torrid few years it's been for Sunderland––not every club gets its own sob story on Netflix does it. A chance to return to the Championship, and one step closer to the Premier League, comes with a final against Wycombe in a week's time.

Quiz Of The Week

Harry Kane has the most goals ever in the North London Derby, but who is second on the list?

FA Cup Final

Saturday 11:45 AM ET –– Liverpool (+110) vs Chelsea (+250)

The last time Chelsea and Liverpool met, this happened, and Liverpool went home with silverware. The two come into this game in starkly different stages of their respective seasons. Liverpool come in fighting for the Premier League still and with a Champions League Final down the road––every game matters for the Reds from here. For Chelsea, eh... They've more or less secured top four, and this is the big game that could save an otherwise marred season, with a trophy lift at the end of the campaign.

Liverpool will come in favourites, but of course continue to stretch themselves across every competition, which might lend some advantage to Chelsea. For Chelsea, the team Tuchel selects will be entirely a surprise; Romelu Lukaku scored 3 in 2 after recently being restored to the side. An FA Cup trophy lift at Wembley would be a nice start to life for Todd Boehly and the new Chelsea consortium...

Championship Playoffs

Friday 2:45 PM ET –– Luton Town (+145) vs Huddersfield Town (+220)Saturday 10:00 AM ET –– Sheffield United (+125) vs Nottingham Forest (+250)

To Advance: Luton (+145), Huddersfield (-185), Sheffield (+130), Nottingham Forest (-160)

If you like pure passion and do-or-die football, the Championship playoffs are for you. It's the last stand; where one team from four will scratch and claw its way to the Premier League. The first legs kick off on Friday and Saturday, with the reverse legs coming on Monday and Tuesday. The winners over two legs will square off at Wembley for all the marbles.

We have our eyes on Nottingham Forest. How cool would it be to see Forest back in the Premier League? They haven't been in the PL since 1999. Luton Town are a bit of a surprise package, but hold the lowest odds to advance.

Dan & Billy's Betting Picks

Dan's Picks: I was 3/3 last week. Need I say more? Follow me home... Let's go for Everton and Aston Villa each to win this weekend at home. Everton play Brentford at home and it's their last home game of this bleak relegation campaign––they need a win. Villa are home to Palace, and both are +110. I also love my Barcelona boys to beat Getafe away this weekend at a lovely price of +105. Let's roll.

Billy's Picks: Was I right or was I right on the Atletico Madrid pick?! Smashed Palace as well. If Straight Red is paying your bills, don't be shy on a shoutout. Listen I love Liverpool to win in regular time at +110 this weekend. I think the price is right, and they are the better team. I also like Leicester to beat Watford at +110; Watford are a sorry outfit at the moment. Lastly, I like u2.5 goals in the Everton v Brentford game at -120. Let's keep it moving huh.

Goal Of The Week

How about this for a team goal? Steven Berghuis finishes off a delicious team move for Ajax. Is this what Manchester United should expect from ten Hag football next season? 👀

Red Card Of The Week

Awful, awful challenge from Daniel James here. What is he complaining about? It doesn't get more straight forward than this.

Quiz Answer: Emmanuel Adebayor! He scored 10 goals in the derby, and played for both teams...

Have a great weekend and continue to spread the Straight Red love if you want a chance to win a jersey of your choice!
